Do I have to use the service on a regular basis?
No, even if you only require our service on an irregular basis or for a one off occasion we will be happy to help.

What hours are you available?
8. 30am-6.30pm every day. Visits outside these hours and Bank Holidays by request.

Are you able to provide care?
It is important to remember although we do have Public Liability Insurance Buzzybees Home Support is not an approved provider of care and therefore are unable to provide help with personal care.

Sometimes your needs maybe come more complex and you may find you need help with personal care as well as our home support services.

Drawing on our years of experience we will be happy to advise and assist you in choosing a suitable care agency to help with your personal care should the need arise.

Can I get help to pay for your services?
Yes. Many of our service users are entitled to claim Attendance Allowance to help with the cost of services such as ours. Others may be able to purchase our services through the Direct Payment Scheme.

Whatever your situation we are happy to advise you or put you in touch with others who are able to help. Such as Adult Services, Age UK (formerly Age concern and Help the Aged), Princess Royal Trust for Carers amongst others.

We are also able to assist you in obtaining a Blue Badge for disabled parking if you qualify, including taking your photograph for ID purposes!

Do you share information about me with others?
All information about you and the services we provide you with is strictly confidential. We only liase with family, friends, GPs, Adult Services etc with your permission. The ONLY exception to this is if we feel you or others maybe at risk if we do not disclose certain information. at all other times confidentiality is assured.

Are your Support Workers experienced?
At present all our Support Workers are experienced in care work with many years of experience between them. They have all been subject to CRB checks. Our aim is to only employ staff with at least 2 years experience in similar fields of work.

We like our staff to wear uniform whilst on duty, some service users prefer us not to wear uniform when we take them out, please let us know if this is the case.

I would prefer the same Support Worker all the time. Is this possible?
Yes. At Buzzybees Home Support we pride ourselves in our personal touch and feel its in everyone’s best interest that change is kept to a minimum. We take care when matching our support workers to our service users thus ensuring them the best service at all times.

We prefer our service users to have a regular time slot with the same support worker. Sometimes due to holidays or sickness there maybe a change which is unavoidable which is why we like to introduce service users to at least two support workers, a familiar face is best!
